Laetitia In Holocaust: Rotten light
11/08/11 || Lord K Philipson
It’s always easy to start off a review with a sentence or two about the actual band’s name and/or album/demo title. Simply becoz that’s the first thing you see when you rip open a package, you know. Today is of course no different. “Rotten light”, huh? “Laetitia In Holocaust”, double-huh? Wicked. With a pretentious moniker like that, a shit title that makes zero sense and based on the magnificent suckiness on this album – these fuckbuckets HAVE to be Italian. They just fucken have to be…
Checking the Internet…
Hahaha… But of course. OF COURSE they are. This means we’ll get some fresh hatemails, spelled by dyslexics and mongoloids, once again, as soon as they have laid their eyes on this review. Italians do it better, hahaha… Right.
This is the kind of “atmospheric and misanthropic black metal” that really has shit to do with what black metal is to me. Usually, in this section of the site we don’t hand out any MySpace links or anything, but I’ll make an exception for Lucia In Hollywood. Click this link and listen to the track entitled “Dialogue with the sun” to understand fully what I am talking about when I say “magnificent suckiness”.
1,5/10: It’s at times like these that I seriously consider to stop accepting CD’s and demos being sent to GD.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
